Under 10/10 and Over with Dice

Tuesday, April 14, 2020

On a piece of paper, draw a line down the middle. Write ⬇️ 10 on one side, and 10 and ⬆️ 10 on the other side. Give your child something to write with and 3 dice. ⠀
Roll the 3 dice and count. If the number is under 10, write that number on the left side, and if it’s 10 or greater than 10, write it on the right side. ⠀
Repeat until you want to stop!⠀
💜Why? ⠀
This super simple activity is so powerful. Not only does it give children the opportunity to practice counting dice, it’s addition practice, a sorting activity, and great fine motor writing practice. ⠀
