Egg Beginning Letter Match

Thursday, April 2, 2020
Another day, another Easter activity! 🐣💗

Get some plastic eggs and write a letter on one side of the egg with a sharpie. On the other side, draw a simple picture of something that starts with that letter (ex: A on one side, picture of an apple on the other side). Break the eggs apart and go hide all the pieces! Have your child go on an egg hunt to find all the egg parts. Then have your child match the letters to the correct picture.

 BONUS ACTIVITY:

You could simplify this activity by doing the same letter on each side for letter recognition. Another idea is upper case on one side, lower case on the other. You could also try it with math equations and answers. There’s so many ways to make this activity work best for you and your child!
